Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course has a rich history and linkage to local heritage. During the early 1800s, the land where it sits today was used as a working ranch and agricultural estate owned by local prominent families who cultivated cattle, sugar cane, and other crops.
In the late 1990s, a visionary development plan was set in motion to transform Hacienda Pinilla into a world-class destination.
The Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course was designed by renowned architect Mike Young, and officially opened in 2001. The golf course’s layout was thoughtfully created to protect the area’s natural beauty while still offering a fantastic golfing experience.
