Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course has a rich history that contributes to its reputation. Its origins date back to the early 1800s when it was used as a working ranch and agricultural estate owned by the local prominent families who cultivated cattle, sugar cane, and other crops. In the late 1990s, a visionary development plan was set in motion to transform Hacienda Pinilla into a world-class resort destination. The Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course was designed by renowned architect Mike Young, and officially opened in 2001. The golf course’s layout was thoughtfully created to protect the area’s natural beauty while still offering a fantastic golfing experience.
